Company Profile
In
1983 CAMTO took over LK’s entire range of electronic protectional
relays for high- and low-voltage distribution. Included in this
range was a unique system for the detecting and clearing of arcing
faults - short circuits with electrical arcs - inside a switchboard.
The principle was originally invented in 1962 at LK who in fact was
first in the world to introduce a solid state relay system for this
purpose.
The
system has been further developed and refined with additional
features so that CAMTO is now able to cover all aspects of
protection against arcing faults. The equipment is supplied all over
the world and it has now become the main product of CAMTO.
CAMTO's policy is to manufacture products of high quality and
reliability by using the best available components, assembled,
inspected and tested by highly skilled and qualified people. It is
our intention to meet the expectations of our customers and to offer
the best possible service and problem solving. CAMTO can still
support and repair relays delivered by LK in the sixties.
CAMTO is solely owned by Helge
